In this process Stefan gets marked by the sword once more forcing him to run from her. Enzo informs Damon that Elena is alive and well protected by his men and that he was hallucinating her death.
Without thinking it was real and just another cruel hallucination outside of the Phoenix Stone, Damon pours gasoline onto Elena's coffin and body and hallucinates seeing Elena burn to death. Damon was horrified at what he had done though and this showed Elena's coffin burning to ashes, although it was fake.
Nina Dobrev's Return in the Series Finale Gave Elena a Happy Ending. Despite Dobrev's departure, Elena's presence loomed over the rest of the series. Once she's finally freed by Bonnie, Elena is depicted living a long and happy life with Damon, with both of them now human.
In her final scene, Elena — who has seemingly died — is greeted by the parents she lost prior to Season 1, saying, "That is the promise of peace — that one day, after a long life, we find each other again." Damon, meanwhile, was reunited with Stefan.
6 yearsKai puts Elena in the coma in I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime which takes place June 23, 2013. She does not wake up until just before May 2019, when Bonnie somehow finds a way of breaking the spell. This puts the time that Elena was in the coma at 6 years give or take, as mentioned above.
She took the cure and became human again towards the end of the sixth season. In the finale of the sixth season, Kai linked Elena to Bonnie's life by magic. Elena will only wake up when Bonnie dies in around 60 years.
Actress Nina Dobrev was only 20 years old when she signed on to the show as Elena Gilbert but six seasons later, she surprised fans when she opted not to sign on for Season 7. But Nina cleared things up with a farewell Instagram post where she said her goodbyes to the show, her co-stars, and the crew.
Here's how it went down: Kai — who killed himself with Lily's blood in his system, thus becoming a heretic — put a spell on Elena, linking her to Bonnie, as long as Bonnie lived, Elena would remain in a sleep-like trance. And if Miz Bennett attempted to find a loophole (TV witch buzzword!), they'd both die.
Damon confesses her that Bonnie kept him alive while the two of them were stuck in 1994 and she was the one giving him hope explaining that this is the reason he wants to save Bonnie and not only to make her fall in love with him again.
Although Goku and Vegeta weren't always friends, the two have saved one another's lives on several occasions. While Vegeta doesn't seem like the heroic type, he's actually saved Goku a lot more times than Goku saved him.
11 Base Goku Let's start with the basic form. Goku, in his base form, is still a force to be reckoned with. He spent all of Dragon Ball, after all, in this form (with a couple of noticeable exceptions). While iconic, Base Goku often discounts this form in order to transform into something far more super.
Then in the Cell and Buu Saga, they have a rivalry more than anything. But because of both their sons being best friends, Bulma being a childhood friend of Goku's, Vegeta admitting Goku is better than him, as well them training with each other all the time in Super, this is how their friendship began.
