XP Boost is an enchantment added by EnderCore. It can be applied to any enchantable and damageable item (except Fishing Rods and armor pieces) up to level III. It is mutually exclusive with Silk Touch....XP BoostModEnderCoreTypeEnchantmentTooltip textExtra XP from mob kills
The maximum level for the Fortune enchantment is Level 3. This means that you can enchant an item with up to Fortune III.
The diamond ore gives the most xp but it is very scarce. So you could use nether quartz ore as it is everywhere in the better and will get you xp faster.
