June 25-28The HOSA - Future Health Professionals (HOSA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) will take place June 25-28 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The HOSA Service Project involves a nationally identified partner who HOSA chapters can choose to support through volunteer service and fundraising. This event aims to encourage HOSA members to provide community service and come together collectively in support of the selected service organization.
The 2020-2022 HOSA Service Organization (selected by the 2020 Voting Delegates) is Be The Match. HOSA will work with Be The Match for the next year in raising funds and awareness for blood stem cell transplantation.

Event Summary Biomedical Debate aims to inspire members to be proactive future health professionals by researching a given health topic, evaluating, discussing, and thinking critically about the issue. The team in this event consists of 3-4 people.
HOSA assists members to:Develop effective leadership qualities and skills.Build self-confidence, motivation and enthusiasm.Strengthen their academic and technical skills.Create friendships and social networks.Participate in community service activities.Set realistic career and educational goals.
HOSA Bowl provides members with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills on various topics and situations in health, HOSA, and parliamentary procedure. This competitive event consists of 2 rounds and each team consists of exactly four (4) members. Round One is a written test.
HOSA encourages students to build a multitude of skills, including leadership, technical, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork. Students gain experience through chapter activities and the HOSA Competitive Events Program. These events are held at regional, state, and national levels.
March 2021 A NEW event has been added for VILC 2021! The AAFP Family Medicine Career Test is now included below and will be available for VILC competitors in June! Conference HOSA delegates as space permits with the opportunity to demonstrate their basic knowledge in preparation to become future health professionals.
Event Summary This event aims to inspire members to be pro- active future health professionals by producing a PSA to promote a health service organization, bring awareness to a health situation, or educate the public at large in regard to health and well-being. 2021-2022 PSA Topic: Bone Marrow Donation Saves Lives!
