Battleye is more of a malware. When I launch Siege or any game with battleye the CPU jumps to 100 percent usage. This happens only when battleye launcher starts.
The types of personal data being collected and processed: BattlEye may collect and process the following information from you: Hardware device information and identifiers (e.g. serial numbers) Information about the running operating system. Information about game-related and operating-system-related files and memory.
BattlEye may scan the entire memory, and any game-related and system-related files and folders on harddisk and report results to the connected game server for the sole purpose of detecting cheats.
BattlEye started off as third-party anti-cheat software for Battlefield Vietnam in late 2004. In the last 17 years, it has proven to be hugely successful, and it is used by many other competitive shooter franchises, including Fortnite, PUBG, and Rainbow Six Siege.
If you would still like to uninstall it, please go to the “BattlEye” folder in your game directory and check if there is a file called “Uninstall_BattlEye. bat”, which is present in many games. If it exists, simply run it to completely uninstall the BE Service.
