the Triwizard MazeOn 24 June, 1995, the Triwizard Maze was grown on the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch for the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament for the four champions to navigate. The maze was populated by various obstacles and dangers that each Champion had to overcome.
After he had been Imperiused, Viktor Krum was ordered to attack and overwhelm Fleur Delacour and Cedric Diggory so that Harry's path to the Cup (or trap) could be clear. , Just an ordinary citizen -- been one all my life. Barty Crouch, Jr. had Krum under the Imperius Curse.
Crouch wanted Harry to reach the Triwizard Cup so that he could be transported to meet with Lord Voldemort. To get the other champions out of the way, Crouch used Moody's magical eye to locate Fleur in the maze and stun her, though she managed to scream once before it hit her.
Yes. The vines do not kill people, earlier on, we see Fleur being dragged away by them, but when Harry returns from the graveyard, Fleur is out of the maze, and awake and healthy enough to recognize (before anyone else!) that Cedric is dead.
Ravenclaw- the Beauxbatons delegation, including Fleur, sat at the Ravenclaw table during the Triwizard Tournament, and one would have to be very intelligent to compete in the Triwizard Tournament as she did.
Despite his skills, the Irish side were too good for the Bulgarians, and Viktor decided to end the match by catching the Golden Snitch. During his pursuit of the Snitch, he was hit in the face by a Bludger which broke his nose and gave him two black eyes.
The spells that Harry put to use in the maze are: lumos, the 'point me' spell, expecto patronum, riddikulus, reducto, stupefy, impedimenta and expelliarmus. Most of the spells are successful.
In the books, Harry saves Cedric from Krum who is using the cruciatus curse due to being under the imperious curse. Ivy is only in the movies. In the books Harry saves Cedric from a giant spider, which in turn attacks Harry and nearly kills him, as they both rush towards the cup.
Periculum2021 Entertainment Wrap Up - The Loop Periculum was the incantation of a charm that allowed the caster to send out bursting red sparks from their wand.
Viktor entered the maze behind Harry and Cedric, and began searching for the Triwizard Cup. During the task, Barty Crouch Jnr, posing as Alastor Moody by way of the Polyjuice Potion, managed to place the Imperius Curse on Viktor as part of his plot to steer Harry Potter to victory in the Tournament.
Cedric's immediate death not long after Harry saves his life in the maze is ironic, but not as ironic as Harry's insistence on the two sharing the win of the Triwizard Tournament. It is a generous impulse that ends up costing Cedric his life. Yes, it is ironic but not Harry's fault.

During the task, Barty Crouch Jnr, posing as Alastor Moody by way of the Polyjuice Potion, managed to place the Imperius Curse on Viktor as part of his plot to steer Harry Potter to victory in the Tournament. Under Moody's control, he caught up with Cedric and performed the Cruciatus Curse on him.
Much like a Muggle flare gun, the spell was used to signal that one was in danger, and thus in need of help.
Dumbledore is not an Animagi, but it's possible if he were to become one his animagus would be a Phoenix. There is no definitive answer.
Come off it, Dumbledore's not dead. In an earlier book (which I don't have to hand presently), we're told that the deadly curse used by Snape (the Abracadabra curse, or whatever it's called) only works if the curser really "means" it to work.
